Soundtrack for the evolution of conciousness
- Dillon Buffi, know by his stage name Amalgam, is a West Coast based electronic music Connoiessur here to ignite and elevate your dance rituals. Since starting his journey in the underground scene in 2011, he has shared the stage with selectors such as Murkury, Lyny, Gonzofuze, Elevated Mind, Skeler, Austeria, Wonky Willa, Ashez, K+Lab, Kimothy Leary, Jalaya and many more. Amalgams unique blend of crunchy halftime beats, mind-melting neuro-hop and forward thinking bass will excite and inspire you. With releases on labels Causmic Creative, Wormhole Music Group, and Badgers Records, Amalgam has established himself as an ambitious producer with a vision to share his unique sounds with the world. As a student with Synthesis Audio and the Berklee College of Music, he studies to enrich his skills in producing, mixing and mastering audio.

Mixing and Mastering
I have been mixing my own records since 2011. My specialty is electronic dance music, but I also work on sound scapes, sound design for picture, and live recordings. The care I bring to my clients projects is the same level that I bring to my own work. - Mixdown rate based on project scope. Use contact address for inquiry.
Mastering is the final step in the production process before distribution. The goal with mastering depends on wether the job is for a single track or part of an album. Generally speaking, mastering is a tradeoff between the perceived loudness target in exchange for dynamic range. This involves making a series of subtle processing decisions which effect the timbre, dynamics, transient presentation and stereo image of the program material. - Mastering rate is $40/track.
